The Franklin Corporation

Project consisted of the construction of 2 ea. wood framed buildings totaling 30,720 s.f. and full site improvements to approximately 2.5 acres including extension of city utilities. Buildings L&M were constructed on an expedited 7-month construction schedule from breaking ground to tenant occupancy. Both buildings provide end users with Multi-Use capabilities of office and storage/warehouse with storefront entrances to office suites and 14’ overhead door to warehouse. All office suites are equipped with heat pump technology to satisfy temperature control and meet current mechanical codes.

Building L&M were designed to match adjacent steel engineered buildings but constructed from wood framing and insulated to meet energy code for fully heated/occupied structure. Utilization of wood framing eliminates the need for double wall framing found in engineered steel structures. Storm water is diverted through multiple storage/treatment swales onsite and meet/exceed current DOE stormwater management standards.
