The Franklin Corporation

The Woods Coffee Building is located in the parking lot of Birch Bay Square Shopping Center and was constructed during the redevelopment project.  In order to prepare the site for a new drive through coffee complex, site demolition included removal of existing asphalt paving and relocation of existing utilities. 

Building construction methods and materials were designed to match the adjacent shopping center modernization with colored concrete hardscapes, cedar shingles, brick veneer, stucco assemblies and extensive storefront assemblies to provide a viewing window in all directions.  Building was provided with an extensive amount of underground plumbing and electrical for future coffee bar operations.
